This book is an experimental publication exploring the art, history, and uses of the maze in pop culture, science and spirituality. It uses its form as a way of engaging the reader
in experiencing a maze itself - encouraging an element of play
and confusion to figure out the hidden or connecting layouts.

‘Delusion’ comes from the origin of the middle English name
of ‘maes’. It is linked together by an A1 sheet of card
and uses the concept of tip-ins to maintain a traditional
codex book element to it.

The book is inspired by puzzles, mazes and games. I explored this theme through its form, by adoptiong an element of play aswell
as making it informative.

There isn’t necessarily an order to the book, it is made to be explored and it is organised by sections. Each section has its
own designated symbol. At the beginning of the book there is a
t ip-in key which indicates the contents of each symbol.
